Kult Gladiator 4G smartphone with 5.5-inch display, Android 7.0 Nougat launched at Rs 6,999

            

Kult, a smartphone-manufacturer based in India has launched a new smartphone dubbed as Kult Gladiator. The smartphone is 4G-VoLTE enabled and is priced at Rs 6,999. The Kult Gladiator will be available on e-commerce site Amazon India starting September 24. Customers can register for the smartphone on Amazon India.

Commenting on the launch, Nitesh Gupta, director, New Product Development, Kult said, "With Gladiator, Kult has unveiled its latest high performing device for the year 2017, a symbol of style, strength, technology, and performance for the millennials who are constantly pushing the boundaries and creating a kulture of differentiated thinking. The Kult Gladiator sports a 5.5-inch ON-CELL HD IPS display supported with a 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone is backed by 4000 mAh battery and is powered by 1.25GHz 64-bit Quad Core MediaTek processor coupled with ARM Mali 650 MHz GPU and 3GB RAM. The phone runs on Android Nougat. The smartphone packs in 32GB ROM which is expandable up to 64GB. The smartphone memory supports 3 slots- 2 SIM slots + 1 Micro SD slot. The home button sensor  in the phone also doubles as the fingerprint sensor. Along with unlocking the device, it can also unlock and open selected applications, answer calls, play and pause music and movies, turn off the alarm and also scroll the home page. On the optics front, the Kult Gladiator 4G comes with a 13MP rear AF camera with LED flash and 8MP selfie camera with LED selfie flash.

Kult debuted in the smartphone market in the year 2015 with a budget smartphone named Kult 10 priced at Rs 7,999. The phone was designed and manufactured in partnership with Taiwanese company ODM Wistron. The latest phone launched by Kult is the Beyond. It was launched in August 2017. The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch screen and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that's expandable. There's a 13MP camera both on the front and back.
