Xiaomi Mi Band HRX Edition launched at Rs 1,299, delivers 23 days battery life on single charge

Xiaomi on Friday partnered with Hrithik Roshan to announce the HRX Edition of Mi Band. This new Mi Band edition is said to deliver up to 23 day battery backup and comes with an improved tracking algorithm and splash resistant capability. The newly announced HRX Edition of the Mi Band comes with a price tag of Rs 1,299.

Mi Band - HRX Edition is basically an adaptation of Xiaomi's Mi Band 2. Xiaomi claims that -- Mi Band 2 is the world's leading fitness wearable with 3.5 million units being sold globally in Q2, as per IDC. Xiaomi is the #1 wearable vendor worldwide with 13.4 percent as per IDC Q2 report.
One of the key highlight of this Hrithik Roshan edition Mi Band is its battery life. The Mi Band - as claimed by the company, delivers around 23-day long battery life on a single charge. Mi Band comes with low-energy Bluetooth 4.0 chipset, and a power efficient OLED display. Xiaomi further notes that the new Mi Band can also last for up to 1 month under regular conditions. "It can monitor your steps, calories burnt, and sleep patterns, as well as display notifications including incoming calls or text messages," notes the company.
The Mi Band is light-weight and easy to carry in hand. The band boasts a slim design and comes with hypoallergenic silicone band. The Mi Band also comes with IP67 splash-resistant capability - which means that this new wearable device by Xiaomi and HRX is water resistant.
Furthermore, the newly announced Xiaomi Mi Band HRX Edition offers the ability to unlock phone, receive both call and app alerts as well.
The Mi Band HRX Edition comes in black colour and will be available on both offline and online stores. To buy the band from online channel, consumers can head on to Flipkart, Amazon and Myntra on September 20. While if one wants to try and get the Mi Band HRX Edition - they can visit the Xiaomi offline stores -- Mi Home starting September 18. The band will also be available on the company's official website - Mi.com starting September 18. The Mi Band will also be up for preview sale at Curefit and Cukt gyms.
